The Senior Special Assistant to Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi on Public Affairs, Deji Aboderin, has clinched the ticket to represent Ibadan North-East/South Federal Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State.

According to PUNCH, Aboderin won the ticket after pulling 558 votes to beat Tunde Olateju, who scored 17 votes and Luqman Madeyin who scored 4 votes.
The primary election was held at the Mapo Hall, Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

In his acceptance speech, Aboderin thanked the state Governor Ajimobi for creating a peaceful atmosphere for the conduct of the APC primaries in the state and for giving all the aspirants equal opportunities to be part of the contest.
