Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State will lead other important personalities to this year’s annual Ramadhan lecture organised by Ibadan-born fuji icon, Saheed Okunola aka Saidi Osupa.
At the event which takes place on Thursday 15th June, 2017, at Genesis Suites popular Islamic preacher, Buhari Omo Musa and Baba N Bariga will dwell on the topic ‘Islam: Epitome of good deeds and character’.
According to Alhajl Lateef Okunola, candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in the 2015 governorship election, Engr. Seyi Makinde, Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Barr. Michael Adeyemo, Hon. Akeem Ige and Chief Imam of the University of Ibadan Muslims Community, where the organiser is currently a student, Prof. AbdulRahman Oloyede and others are billed to attend the event.
Also expected are the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Chief Sunday Adeyemo (Igboho), Alhaja Bose Adedibu, chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Alhaji Taofeek Oyerinde (Fele), Alhaji Rashidi Ayinde, Taiye Adebisi (Currency)
Islamic singers like Wasiu Sodiq, Qamorudeen Aiyeloyun, Bukola Alayande, Saoty Arewa and others will entertain guests.
