Governor Abiola Ajimobi has explained three signs that showed that opposition parties were bound to lose in the forthcoming elections.
This is coming as campaign for the election of APC candidate, Adebayo Adelabu as the next governor of Oyo State began on Friday, with incumbent Governor Abiola Ajimobi giving reasons why the All Progressives Congress (APC) will replicate its 2015 victory across the state in the 2019 election.
Speaking at the event held at the party office, Oke-Ado, Ibadan, Ajimobi listed the three reasons why the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other parties will key lose the next gubernatorial election in the state. The reasons are:
1. Some of the signs, he said, were the fact that just like in 2015, all other parties challenging the ruling APC were in disarray.
2. According to Ajimobi, opposition parties were doomed for failure from the outset owing to their lack of a cohesive front, various misunderstandings among their members and instability.
3. Ajimobi added that evidences that God was with him and the APC was the fact that the opposition was in disarray and failed to flag off its campaign before that of the APC.
