Following the announcement of Barrister Ahmed Raji (SANs) as the National President of the Oke-Ogun Development Consultative Forum (ODCF), the Okere of Saki, Oba Khalid Olabisi Oyeniyi Oyedepo III has congratulated him.
Okere, who’s the Vice Chairman, Oyo State Council of Obas also congratulated other members of the executive.
The traditional ruler in a statement, on Saturday said Barrister Raji will use his connection and experience to facilitate developmental projects to the zone.
Oke-Ogun Development Consultative Forum (ODCF) is the umbrella body of all Oke-Ogun indigenes across the world.
While wishing them a successful tenure, Okere, who’s the Permanent Chairman of Saki West local government council of Obas prayed for Barrister Raji and others members.
He said: “The announcement of Barrister Ahmed Raji as the National President of the Oke-Ogun Development Consultative Forum met me with joy and happiness. I cannot but congratulate him and other members of the executive.
“He will use his connections and experience to facilitate developmental projects to Oke Ogun. I wish him and other members of the executive a successful tenure.”
Meanwhile, announcing the names of the new executive council of ODCF at Otu Community Town Hall on Saturday, the Chairman of the nominating committee, Admiral Amos Adedeji rtd., listed Mr Femi Adeyanju from Saki West as the National Vice President 1 and Mrs Mary Aboyade from Kajola local government as the Vice President 11.
Others include Dr. Bimpe Aderounmu from Irepo local government as the General Secretary, Pastor Favour Adewoyin from Atisbo local government as the Assistant General Secretary, Mr Ademola Ogundayo from Oorelope local government as the Treasurer and Alhaji Bayo Raji from Iseyin local government as the Financial Secretary.
The Assistant Financial Secretary is Mr Femi Atunbi from Iwajowa, Comrade Remi Adegbola from Saki East local government is the Publicity Secretary, Barr. Leke Oladeji from Itesiwaju local government is the Legal Adviser, Alhaja Ganiyat Saka from Iwajowa is the Welfare Officer while the new Organizing Secretary is Surveyor Ismail Adewoyin from Saki West local government.
Among the executive members is the retired Assistant Commissioner of Police, Olori Funke Ladigbolu from Iseyin who is the Chief Whip, Mr Sunday Ayorinde from Kajola is the Assistant Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Ayandele Raji from Olorunsogo is the Auditor, Dr. Segun Ajuwon from Atisbo local government is Ex-Officio member, Pastor Zacheus Adepoju from Saki East is also an Ex-Officio member as well as Comrade Jare Ajayi from Olorunsogo local government area, who is also an Ex-Officio member.
