A gubernatorial aspirant in the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Prof. Adeolu Akande has commiserated with Fuji icon, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal on the passage of his daughter, Wasilat Ashabi Anifowose.
In a condolence message sent to the musician, Akande consoled the music icon to accept the will of Allah, praying that God will grant Wasilat eternal rest.
“It is very painful to lose a loved one especially a dotting daughter like Alhaja Wasilat. We have to accept the will of God and wish her eternal rest.
Akande counselled Alhaji Ayinde Marshal to take solace in his own words of wisdom in many of his works on the subject of death. “I pray that you find solace in the words of wisdom you have rendered over the years in many of your works on the subject of death. May God console you and be with you and the family at this time”, he concluded.
“A time like this tests our faith in God but all the years i have known you are testimonies to your faith in God and in the ultimate powers of God in the affairs of men. Take heart,the Lord is your strength,” he concluded
