Access Bank Plc, Nigeria’s leading financial institution, has taken its flagship savings promo, DiamondXtra Season 16, to the ancient city of Ibadan. This highly anticipated event was a showstopper as existing and new customers won many mouth-watering gifts and cash prizes.

Building on the resounding success of previous seasons, Access Bank through DiamondXtra Season 16 aims to reward customers’ loyalty and encourage a saving culture. The event was an opportunity for Access Bank to enlighten her customers on the values, essence and advantages of saving which is the culture that Access Bank aims to promote among her customers through the DiamondXtra Promo. There was also an electrifying atmosphere of music, exciting giveaways, onsite draws for customers as well as merriment.

What makes the launch of the DiamondXtra promo at Ibadan more endearing to customers is the fairness and transparency that define the process. All customers who have DiamondXtra accounts with a balance of at least ₦5000 have an equal opportunity to win during the draws. Rewards were made onsite which is why the promo has grown into a much anticipated and beloved tradition across the nation.

During the onsite draws, 40 customers with DiamondXtra accounts went home with cash prizes of ₦20,000 each, 5 people won ₦50,000 each, 2 people won ₦100,000 each and 1 account holder won the sum of a whopping ₦200,000 instantly deposited into their accounts.

One of the winners, Ajayi Fadeke, appreciated Access Bank for the reward saying, ”I never expected it. It’s really amazing, being given cash at this time.”

The grand prize winner of ₦200,000, Nurudeen Bayo Razak, also expressed excitement about winning the cash prize and appreciated the efforts of Access Bank in giving back to its customers. He also promised to get his friends and family to open DiamondXtra accounts.

Speaking at the regional activation in Ibadan, Bolaji Aboderin, Regional Sales Director, South-West Region expressed his delight to bring the DiamondXtra Season 16 to the vibrant city of Ibadan. “We are here today for the 16th season of the DiamondXtra draw. This is just a scheme in place whereby the bank is trying to give back to our loyal customers. It is a form of saying thank you, it’s a reward system to encourage a saving culture.” He said.

“The draws are in different stages. There are regional, state and national draws. We just finished the last one in Lagos, and when we finish here in the South-West, we will move to the South-East and North. It’s nationwide.” He concluded.
