Five years after the demise of late former governor of Oyo State, AlhajI Lamidi Adesina, his followers converged at his Felele, Ibadan home to remember him.
At the popular ‘Abe-Tent’, Islamic clerics offered prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Wife of the late politician, Alhaja Sarat Adesina, his former personal assistant, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle as well as his former deputy, Barr. Iyiola Oladokun, APC vice-chairman, Alhaji Isiaka Alimi, a governorship aspirant, Yunus Akintunde, Hon. Lasun Adebunmi, children of the deceased, a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olusegun Olaleye and others were present.
Thanking those who have stood with the family since his father’s demise, first son of the deceased, Dr. Ayo Lam said “Chief Oladokun, who was my father’s deputy has never deserted this house since my father died. Same for Alhaji Ibikunle, Alhaji Akintunde and others.
He urged them to continuosly pray for his late father and the family, adding that he is happy with those who have continued to uphold the principles of his late father.
