A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo state and loyalist of Governor Seyi Makinde who was kidnapped in his Ibadan home last week, Benedict Akika has regained freedom.
It was gathered that he was freed today.

This is coming, six days after gunmen broke into his Olorunda home and took him away to somewhere unknown.
Chief Akika is reported to have been taken to an undisclosed medical facility for assessment.
It was unclear at the time of publication whether or not ransom was paid.

Recall that few days ago, his loyalists offered interdenominational prayers to ask God for his safe return.
