The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress Party in the 2019 Governorship Election, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has extended his heartfelt condolence to President Muhammadu Buhari over the death of his Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari.
In a statement released through one of his Media Aides, Comrade Femi Awogboro, Adelabu said the death of Mallam Abba kyari came to him as a rude shock but as a Muslim, the Almighty Allah knows the best time to call his servant to his side. He then prayed to Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Oloye Bayo Adelabu described the late Abba Kyari, who he said he interacted with on a few occasions in his days as a Deputy Governor at the Central Bank of Nigeria, as a distinguished Nigerian who has contributed his quota to the progress of the country and till his death, remained one of the strong pillars of the Buhari Administration.
The former CBN deputy Governor also urged President Muhammadu Buhari not to be depressed with the death of his close ally, Abba Kyari but to see his death as an act of God.
Oloye Bayo Adelabu also commiserate with members of the ruling APC over the death of the President’s chief of staff Abba Kyari. He appealed to the party leadership that this is a time the President needs more of their prayers and support in his quest to continue to deliver on his electoral promises to the people.
