More than six months after they fell apart following the elevation and installation of Ibadan high chiefs as Obas, Governor Abiola Ajimobi and Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji met publicly.
They met at a lecture put together for the 60th anniversary of the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, yesterday.

Ajimobi, who had arrived earlier before the monarch, rose up, in reverence, to welcome Oba Adetunji before the monarch walked to a seat reserved for him.
It drew wild applause from many people, especially those who thought they would ignore each other.
However, Ajimobi did not come with the elevated monarchs unlike before.

Though it was unsure whether UCH extended invitation to the monarchs.
