The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has named four members of the House of Representatives from Oyo state as chairmen standing committees of the lower chamber of the National Assembly.
At the plenary on Thursday, the Speaker announced their names alongside other members as chairmen and vice-chairmen of the committees.
Gbajabiamila also appointed several ad hoc committees and investigative panels.
Insideoyo.com gathered that Gbajabiamila announced Prince Akeem Adeyemi (Oyo East, Oyo West, Atiba, Afijio) as House Committee Chairman on Telecommunication, Hon. Tolu Akande-Sadipe (Oluyole Federal Constituency) as House Committee Chairman on Diaspora.
Hon. Akin Alabi (Egbeda, Ona Ara Federal Constituency) as House Committee Chairman on Inter Governmental Affairs, Hon. Segun Odebunmi (Surulere, Ogooluwa Federal Constituency) as Chairman House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Value.

Checks by InsideOyo.com also revealed that the four members appointed are from the All Progressives Congress, APC as the some of the members elected under People’s Democratic Party, PDP were appointed as Vice Chairmen.
While Akin Alabi and Sadipe are new lawmakers, Odebunmi and Skimeh are returning lawmakers.
