The hope of Shooting Stars Sport Club (3SC) getting promoted to the Nigeria top flight league NPFL was brought alive as they got maximum 3 away points against Warri wolves over the weekend.
It was the first time Shooting star will be defeating Warri wolves in the presence of their home fans in a NNL, the last time both teams played each other was in 2015 2016 NPFL season where Warri wolves white washed Shooting Stars by 4 – 1 in Warri.
It was match day 2 for Shooting Stars in the NNL after they drew opening game at home against Insurance of Benin.
The Head Coach, coach Edith Agoye tried to play with caution as he deployed a tactics that looks like 4-4-2 formation with Akombo partners Olufemi up front, it was a keen contested encounter the goal came courtesy of a beautiful strike from Ukeyima Akombo at the 85th minutes after the team made its 1ST change as Samuelson came in for Opeyemi.
The Coach of the side Edith Agoye who could not hide his feelings shed tears while speaking to journalists.
He dedicate the victory to all Oluyole warriors.

This win takes Oluyole warriors to 5thposition on the log in group B1 with 4 points from 2 matches while Bayelsa United in 1st position with 6 points from 3 matches, Bendel Insurance, Bayelsa Utd FC, Akwa Starlet are in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th positions respectively with 4 points each.
