The Oyo State Governor-elect, Seyi Makinde, said he will abolish security levies and school fees for primary and secondary schools in the state.
He told The PUNCH Newspaper that he will constitute an economic team as soon as he assume office in May.
These are:

1. Abolition of public primary and secondary school fees
He said parents will no longer pay N3000 per students any more into state’s coffer.
2. Cancel Security levies

He promised to cancel State’s security levies on Churches and mosques as security issues will be government activities.
3. Economic team
He promised to put in place an economic team headed by himself to fast track economic regeneration and promote agriculture and natural resources.
