It was celebration galore as Ibadan-born entrepreneur, Engr. Dotun Sanusi commissioned a multi-million naira hostel and a 3km road constructed by the International College of Arts, Science and Technology (ICAST), owned by him.
Established in 2011 and located at Elebu area of the state capital, the ultra-modern hostel, equipped with adequate medical personnel, equipment and a standard sporting facility for use by the students, is said have the capacity to accommodate thousands of students conveniently.
According to Sanusi, who also owns a farm and a game village in Ibadan, the new hostel which is solar powered has 500KVA generating set which would ensure a 24 hours electricity supply.
While commissioning, Oyo State deputy governor, Chief Moses Adeyemo and other top government functionaries from the state commended the philanthropist for the projects, urging others to emulate him.
At the event were Prof Adeolu Akande who gave a keynote address, Dr. Festus Adedayo, Dr. Abib Olamitoye, Hon. Bosun Oladele, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun and others.
