Hon. Kamil Mudasiru Akinlabi, who recently announced his defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is seeking a return to the House of Representatives.
Kamil, who was in the lower chamber of the national assembly for two consecutive term, lost his third term bid in the 2015 election. After losing the APC primary to the current occupant and Oyo Prince, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi, he contested under Labour Party, LP, and lost again at the general election to the latter.
He was later appointed as special adviser by his colleague and friend, Hon. Lasun Yusuf, who is deputy speaker of the House.
Only last week, on Saturday, at an event in Oyo town, insideoyo.com sighted a sticker on some of the cars on the entourage of Kamil, asking people to ‘watch out’ for the former lawmaker, as 2019 draws near.
