Popular Yoruba movie actress, Funke Adesiyan, who was pronounced as the winner of the All Progressive Congress (APC), House of Assembly ticket for Ibadan South East State Constituency 2, has voiced out about the injustice allegedly meted out by the APC to aspirants who bought forms and contested for the party’s primaries.
Adesiyan who reportedly scored 207 votes to defeat her rival who got 32 votes, this morning revealed that her ticket which she won at the primaries has been allegedly taken from her and given to a preferred “anointed candidate”.
Just yesterday, the actress had posted a victory message on her Instagram as she thanked her supporters and the party hierarchy for ensuring a free and fair primary election.
But this morning Adesiyan accused the APC of allowing aspirants spend so much money on purchasing forms and going on campaigns while already having their own chosen candidate, saying she has ‘been made to believe and accept the outcome in good fate’.
