About 16 persons have tested positive for the coronavirus disease in Oorelope local government area, Igboho in the Oke Ogun area of Oyo state.
In a statement issued by Dr. I. A Ayantola, MOH/PHCC of the council, all the patients are asymptomatic.
“We have contacted victims and compelled them to self-Isolate. We have provided them with immune boosters and keep them under constant watch.
“We have commenced contact tracing, especially on their family member,” the statement reads.
According to Dr. Ayantola, provision has been made for a temporary isolation ward at one of LG PHC centres in case of severe cases before relocation to isolation center for further management.
