The Aare of Ofiki Land, Alayelua, Oba Adeoye Gbenga Adigun Oyinlola II, JP has commended the governor of Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde for the completion of the FGN-UBEC/OYO SUBEB school project with 10-classrooms, staff room, offices, sick bay, computer room, laboratory, library and hall at the Ofiki Grammar School in Atisbo Local Government.
Oba Adeoye while congratulating the governor over his 100 days in office urged him to consider tarring the Agunrege – Owo – Irawo road, Agoare – Ofiki and Ofiki – Igbojaiye township roads with utmost important.
The traditional ruler who just arrived from a Twelve-Day Trip to Zambia for the All Africa Baptist Youths Fellowship Biennial Conference which was held in Lusaka, Zambia under his leadership as President told insideoyo.com on Friday, that the roads have numerous farm villages which is inline with the Agricultural plan of the Seyi Makinde-led government.

He said “On behalf of the people of Ofiki Land, I want to commend our governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for the completion of the school project at Ofiki Grammar school. I know the value of this of this FGN-UBEC/OYO SUBEB project and I’m are very grateful for the timely completion. As you mark 100 Days in office today, I pray God continue to be with you as you pilot the affairs of our dear state.
“I want to use this medium with utmost important to draw your attention to the Agunrege – Owo – Irawo road, Agoare – Ofiki and Ofiki – Igbojaiye township roads. These roads are inline with your Agriculture plan for our dear state. They are roads that links over 40 farm villages whose occupants are dominantly farmers.
“Making these roads motorable will not only bring succor to the people of Atisbo and Itesiwaju local government areas but make farm produce available at various markets in the state.”
The Monarch who is also the President of the All Africa Baptist Youths Fellowship added that the road have economic potentials for both Atisbo and Itesiwaju local government areas and also boost the State’s Internal Generated Revenue.
“These roads are very important for the economic development of Atisbo and Itesiwaju local government areas. As a King, I feel the pain of my people living in these areas. I urge our governor to kindly consider the roads”.
