Tight security around the premises of the Oyo state House of Assembly on Tuesday,  as lawmakers moved into a closed session to elect a new leader.

Oyo lawmakers have agreed to pick a new Speaker today after the death of Rt. Hon. Adeyemo.

Recall that Insideoyo.com had early listed 5 lawmakers that may emerge as the new Speaker.

Honourable Abdulwasi Musah; Minority leader, Honourable Olagunju Ojo and Chairman, Parliamentary, Honourable Segun Ajanaku are in pole position as a new Speaker of the state Assembly.
