The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the House of Representatives from Ibadan North Federal Constituency Lanre Sarumi has described the victory of Governor Seyi Makinde in the just concluded governorship election as a catalyst for a generational shift in Oyo State politics.
He stated this in his congratulatory messages to Governor Seyi Makinde over his landslide wins at the just concluded poll.
He pointed out that the people of Oyo State have demonstrated their sensitivity to genuine and trustworthy leadership, they have acted in direct proportion to how they feel about the people-centered government of GSM in the first part of Omituntun; an attestation to their zeal for the second part.
He appreciated Engr. Seyi Makinde for his leadership and dedication to the people of Oyo State and for positioning himself as a model that we can all emulate.
He further thanked the people of Oyo State for their commitment to ensuring that the good work of engr. Seyi Makinde is not truncated.
He further congratulates all the PDP House of Assembly members elected and prayed that Omituntun 2.0 will be a smooth sail for Engr. Seyi Makinde and the people of Oyo State.
