The Oyo State chapter of the Young Democratic Party (YDP) has commissioned a new Secretariat in Ibadan located at Ile-Epo Bus Stop, Odo-Ona, Apata Ibadan.
The party office was commissioned by its National Chairperson, Barrister Georgina Dapkokpo.
The National Chairperson in her speech pointed out that “it has become imperative for us to make a change in the political space even though we have no godfather to sponsor us, but the little we have achieved so far is a collective effort of our members.”
She further stated that “By 2019, The Young Democratic Party will become a very strong party to reckoned with.”
The South West Coordinator, Asiwaju ‘Segun Nelson in his own remark informed the members and those planning to join the party that the wing of the party has been stretched to states in the south-west and urged members to ensure they get their Permanent Voters Card so as to participate fully in the upcoming general elections.
The State Chairman of the Party, Comrade Chris Ayantoye in his own remark, urged members to spread the good news of the party among people in their communities, Schools, Clubs, Churches and Mosques. He pointed out that, “the era of no office, no recognition is over.
