The Oyo South Senatorial Candidate of the PDP, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe has lauded Governor Seyi Makinde as a lover of the masses.
He made this known in a press release to celebrate the Governor on the occasion of his 55th birthday.
Tegbe while celebrating Seyi Makinde applauded the governor as a leader who has strives to meet the needs of the ordinary people whose concerns were disregarded by past leaders.
He stressed that, the governor since his emergence, has promoted laudable policies serve the interest of the ordinary people in the state who have hitherto been abandoned by the.
In his words; “I celebrate our dear Governor, His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde, a true Populist, a man who has done so much for the less privileged and the ordinary citizen all through his first tenure.
“From regular payment of salaries and pensions including 13th month bonus, to delivering sole ownership of LAUTECH and upgrading Emmanuel Alayande College of Education to a university, to equipping public hospitals and reconstruction of Primary Health Care Centers across all wards, local government areas, massive renovation of Adamasingba Stadium, development of numerous critical infrastructure, playing a huge role in establishment of Amotekun and other strides too numerous to mention.
“With all mentioned, it is seen that Governor Seyi Makinde’s achievements cut across Education, Socio-economic development, Sports Development, Security and others which clearly attests to the fact that he is indeed a masses-friendly Governor.
Tegbe added that, Seyi Makinde is one of the best governor in the history of governance in Oyo State and deserves to be celebrated by everyone.
Mogaji Tegbe also prayed that come this time next year, Gov. Seyi Makinde will celebrate his 56th birthday as the governor of Oyo State and he’ll also celebrate him as a Senator and wishes him a wonderful birthday
He urged the people to reciprocate the Governor’s good work by supporting his reelection bid, and that of other PDP candidates in the 2023 elections.
