A former minority leader of the Oyo state House of Assembly and a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Saki West local government area, Honourable Adekunle Tunji Rafiu has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde over his second year anniversary of his assumption of office.
Adekunle in a statement personally signed by him and made available to insideoyo.com on Sunday said Governor Makinde is re-engineering structural foundation in the state. He added that he can call the Governor “Awolowo reincarnate”.
Baba Minor as he is fondly called also listed some of the projects the Seyi Makinde-led administration has done and ongoing in Saki.
The release read in full: “We wish to congratulate you and all members of your cabinet, our great party- PDP as you mark the second anniversary of your assumption of office in Oyo state.
“You have truly justified the mandate freely given to you by God and the vast majority of the good people of Oyo State.

“Your Excellency has deployed more effective mechanism for sustained peace and security in the State , initiated programmes, policies and projects which have direct bearing on the lives of our citizens, and without mincing words , Oyo State ,no doubt, is on the path of sustainable growth and development with you at the helm of affairs.
“The people of Saki- West Local Government Area are particularly grateful to Your Excellency for making Saki town your choice destination as your second home, next city to Ibadan, agribusiness and industrial hubs in the state .
“In no distant time ,we should be boasting of having a modern trailer terminal, one of the best in the country as a boost to commercial activities in the area, the state and by extension OKERETE International boarder market, whenever it opens for activities.
