As part of this year celebration of teachers day, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo South Senatorial District, Akogun Sharafadeen Alli has congratulated all the teachers in the state, saying they deserve better wellfare packages.
Alli said; “I celebrate our remarkable teachers who leave no stone unturned in moulding lives, building character and preparing our children for future.”
The former secretary to the state government in a statement he personally signed on Wednesday said teachers in the state over the years have distingushed themselves in many ways.
Akogun Sharafadeen Alli said it is known fact that teachers are not well renumerated as expected, saying the better days are ahead for them.
He further charged them to continue given the best to the pupils, saying time is coming when teachers will reap their good deeds.
“I am joining millions of the people in the world to appreciate our teachers, especially those who are working tirelessly to ensure our children get the best of education.
“I celebrate with them on this year celebration of teachers day. Our teachers deserve better wellfare packages for leaving their own challenges to care for our children.
” I also celebrate our remarkable teachers who leave no stone unturned in moulding lives, building character and preparing our children for future.”
