Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) for Oyo North Senator District, Hon Akinwale Solomon Akinwole has commended the people of Ogbomoso for the expression of love and warm reception given to Governor Seyi Makinde and his entourage during the campaign visit to the zone.
Akinwole popularly known as Wolekanle said the promises of re-electing the governor and vote for all PDP candidates by stakeholders and people on the street is a development that will further bring advancements of the state.
He added that their resolve to vote for all the PDP candidates during Feb 25 and March 11 election has attesed to the facts that they are tired of the maladministration and inconsistency of the government who promised better change but failed to deliver.
His words: “Governor Seyi Makinde deserves our utmost support for another term because he has done well in the first term. He promised to resolve LAUTECH crisis and make Oyo state sole ownership of the institution, he did it. He has his hands in all sector including infrastructures, health, education and human capital development”
“His coming for another term will place the state on a higher pedestal as make life more meaningful and better for the state and her people.
“Just like Governor Makinde has said, having PDP at Senate, Reps and House of Assembly in the state would not only reduce the burden on the state government but enhance collaborative efforts to alleviate the suffering of the people. I want to also urge you to vote for PDP at both National and state elections.
“My Intrest in politics is to liberate the people and give them the best. We cannot fold our arms and watch some people who are already taking people for a ride with deception, the people of Oyo North deserves more than what they are getting now. I will work together with all the stakeholders to ensure the people are truly represented and their voice is being heard loud and clear at the National Assembly.
“I want to implore my people not to be carried away with cosmetics and fake promises especially from those who have been tested and failed to deliver. I believe it is time to vote the right man with fresh idea for the job and I will never betray the confidence reposed in me”.
