A senatorial hopeful for Oyo South Senatorial District and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Olusola Ayandele populary known as Eruobodo has appreciated the party leaders and party members in Ido local government and Ibarapa zone of for the peaceful conduct of the APC ward congress on Saturday.
Eruobodo, a gubernatorial aspirant of the party in the 2019 General elections, also urged new ward executive to embrace tolerance in the discharge of their duties.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday, Eruobodo expressed happiness over the conduct and the outcome of the party ward congress.
He said: “It’s my sincere and utmost joy to appreciate the stakeholders of our great party, APC from National, state to local levels for the show of love, brotherhood and sincerity of purpose expressed yesterday for the Party ward congress, most importantly our leaders in Ido local government and 3 Local Government areas in Ibarapa area of Oyo State.
“Your leadership acumen and spirit of oneness towards the peaceful conduct of our Ward congress is highly appreciated”
While expressing his view on the conduct and outcome of the party ward congress, he said, he was glad with the peaceful conduct and the outcome of the election yesterday.
He said: “Our people were well composed and coordinated during the exercise. The turn out of party members yesterday shown that we are ready to take over power in Oyo State by 2023.”
Eruobodo further admonished party members to remain united, focused as they prepare towards the local and state congresses.
He said: “Party ward excos should tolerate one and other, embrace peace and preach love in thier activities. We must be united because a divided house will hardly achieve something meaningful. Our focus is not to get party excos but to participate in the General Election and win, and it’s our collective efforts to work it out,” he said.
While rounding off the message, he reiterated his passion towards human and capital development, proper representation as he moves on for his senatorial ambition’s consultation.
