All roads leading to the ancient town of Sepeteri was busy throughout on Saturday as dignitaries across Oyo state stormed the town to grace the thanksgiving ceremony of Hon. Riliwan Saminu Gbadamosi popularly known as Wale Canada member representing Saki East and Atisbo constituency at the Oyo State House Assembly held at NUD Primary School Sepeteri.
The event organized by the house member to appreciate the people of the constituency for their support during the last general elections. While addressing the mammoth crowd, Hon. Riliwan Saminu Gbadamosi (aka Wale Canada) retriated his commitment in bringing the dividends of democracy to the his constituency and also promote bills that will positively affect lives of the people of Oyo State.
Among creme de là creme of the society who grace the occasion were the Deputy Governor of Oyo State Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, Hon. Samuel Agbarapo and bigwigs of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Engr. Rauf Olaniyan promised that the team stirring the canoe of Oyo State under the leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde will take Oyo State back to its pacesetter position among the committee of states in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
The event was lighted up by the fuji performance of Alhaji Taye Adebisi (Taye Currency) as his fans sang along his rendition.
