The rustic town of Araromi Aperin in the Ona Ara local government area of Oyo state went agog on Saturday as the Alararomi of Araromi Aperin, His Royal Highness, Oba Mudasir Folorunsho Musa Obisesan celebrated his first year coronation anniversary.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the installation of Chiefs that will assist the Araromi monarch in actualising his dreams of social/economic transformation of the town.
Amidst booming of guns and dancing, the event wittinessed by dignitaries from far and near saw a retired banker, Chief (Mrs) Bolatito Aduke Adeyemo (Nee Obisesan) installed as the Iyalode of Araromi Aperin while a Veteran Journalist and President of Ona Ara Development Forum, Alhaji Kola Bolomope bagged the chieftaincy title of Asiwaju of Araromi.
Among other Chiefs installed were Chief Johnson Akinade Adewole as the Gbobaniyi, Mrs Taibat Adesina Aborisade as the Iyalaje and Apostle Kolaranmi Olomoyoyo as the Bobajiro of Araromi Aperin.
In his address, the Alararomi, Oba Mudasir Musa Obisesan called on his subject to support the Oyo state government in its efforts to bring development to the grassroots.
He also urged the new Chiefs to use all their God given resources to attract development to the community.
Also speaking with newsmen after his installation, the new Asiwaju of Araromi Aperin called on sons and daughters of the community to join hands with their monarch in bringing development to the area.
