The Registrar of the University of Ibadan, Mrs Olubunmi Omobolanle Faluyi has enjoined members of the public to disregard the current information circulating on social media that the institution has advertised academic and non-teaching vacancies, describing the report as fake.
Mrs. Faluyi who said she was being daily bombarded with calls and messages regarding the purported vacancy advertisement urged members of the public to always check the website of the University for authentic information.
According to her, “University of Ibadan is a global brand. When it is time to employ people, everyone will know as we will advertise both internally and externally because we are always interested in getting the best candidates”
