Succour has come the way of victims of Ogbomoso fire incident as an ex-media adviser and chief of staff to national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Sunday Dare has volunteered to assist them.
Insideoyo.com had reported how more than 30 shops were razed, with goods worth millions lost to the inferno that gutted the popular Akande market in the ancient town.
Dare, who is an indigene of the town, expressed sadness over the incident, saying: ”Such a tragedy. Hopefully something will be done to assist the victims and rebuild the market.”
He added that: “I am committed to help in this regard. And also to make a case to Agodi on their behalf.”
Dare, who was senior special assistant and chief of staff to late former information minister- Dora Akunyili, is the executive commissioner (stakeholders management) of Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC.
