Bill by Hon. Akeem Adeyemi, lawmaker representing AFIJIO/Atiba/Oyo East/Oyo West federal constituency, for the establishment the Federal University of Agriculture, Fiditi-Oyo has scaled first reading.
The bill was read the first time on the floor of the National Assembly on Wednesday, 20th March, 2024.
Titled A Bill For An Act To Amend The Federal Universities of Agriculture Act CAP. F22 Laws Of The Federation 2010, To Establish Federal University of Agriculture, Fiditi-Oyo, Oyo State And For Related Matters, the three-term legislator thanked his constituents for the support he has enjoyed.
According to the Oyo Prince, who chairs the House committee On agricultural colleges and institutions in Nigeria, “Your unalloyed support and prayers serve as motivation to work relentlessly and bring enviable development to the good people of Oyo Federal Constituency.”
