Hon. Shina Peller, a member of the House of Representatives from Oyo State representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, on Wednesday embarked on a three day constituency tour across the four local governments that make up the constituency.
The tour which was to inform the constituents of his legislative activities as their representative and reassure them of his firm commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises which include creating an enabling and economy friendly environment.
During the tour which ended on Friday 13th March 2020, Shina Peller visited Oju Baba community in Iseyin local government, where he was able to resolve amicably a community dispute which erupted due to some kind of misunderstanding among the opinion leaders.
Also in the course of the tour, Shina Peller was in Otu in Itesiwaju local government where he paid a condolence visit to the parent and family of the late popular alternative medicine practitioner, Abdulfatai Yusuf, also known as Oko Oloyun, who was shot dead by gunmen in January along Eruwa-Igboora road, Oyo State. Also, he seized the opportunity to meet with some opinion leaders in Itesiwaju local government, whilst he also attended the local government general meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Similarly, he was also at Okeho in Kajola local government to meet with some stakeholders in the area and seized the opportunity to attend the local government general meeting of the APC where he interacted with his party members.
The tour also included visitation to Iwajowa local government where he met with His Royal Highness, Oba Soliu Oyemonla, the Sabiganna of Iganna Kingdom, Oba Bagijan of Ilaji Ile and other traditional rulers in the local government area.
Furthermore, like he did in other local governments, he attended the general meeting of the APC in Iwajowa local government.
