Federal lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency of Oyo State at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, Honourable Shina Peller has congratulated the newly elected NUJ Chairperson of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) Chapel, Comrade Dupe Fehintola.
He stated this in a congratulatory letter addressed to her, a copy of which was made available to newsmen.
The lawmaker, who hails from the same Oke-Ogun region as Comrade Fehintola, described the the media amazon as an accomplished broadcaster, stressing that he is proud to be associated with the NUJ Iron Lady.
Peller stated that Fehintola’s emergence as the new NUJ Chairperson of the state-owned broadcasting corporation is another testament that Oke-Ogun region is blessed in terms of human capital resources.
The lawmaker prayed that God gives Fehintola-led executives understanding, wisdom and strength needed to discharge its new roles efficiently and resourcefully.
It would be recalled that Fehintola was declared winner last week after polling the highest number of votes in the keenly contested election.
Dupe Fehintola is a senior reporter in the service of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State and an active member of the NUJ and NAWOJ respectively.
Fehintola has many awards of excellence to her credit and has attended many professional trainings far and near. She loved by many within and outside journalism career.
