One of the gubernatorial aspirants of the African Democratic Congress, ADC in Oyo State, Barr Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli has expressed his appreciation to the teeming members of the party who thronged out en mass at the venue of the party primaries yesterday to elect a candidate of their choice.
Expressing this appreciation in a Press Release through his media aide, Comrade Taiwo Ibrahim, Barr Alli observed that despite the hot weather, the people still expressed their unflinching love for the party and ready to partake in a democratic process that will carry their flag.
The guber hopeful also appreciated the doggedness of the members of the National Executive Committee as well as that of the state executive of the party for their desire to entrench an unparalleled democratic process as a cardinal principle to bring a new order to Oyo State politics.
He said this couldn’t have been much better if not for the experience and the steadfastness of all the leaders of the party to have a a party that will serve as a model for others to worship.
Barr Alli stressed that in politics, there will always be paramount issues to arise and the ability to put them in right perspectives make people to distinguish the bron from the brain.
“Let’s appeal for calm as a glorious dawn has come and we shall all have cause to glorify our God.” Alli concluded
