Ahead of the inauguration of Governor Seyi Makinde for another term in office, the Chairman of Oorelope local government area, Hon Akeem Adepoju Raheem has congratulated the Oyo State Governor for the successful completion of his first term in office.
Raheem in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday, said Governor Seyi Makinde truly deserves the second term with his outstanding achievements in the first term as the Governor of the state.
He said the Omititun 2.0 will bring more development and dividends of democracy to the good people of Oorelope local government area and the state in general.
He also thanked the Governor for the opportunity given to him to serve the people of Oorelope local government as the chairman.
His words: “I want to use this opportunity to congratulate our boss, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde over the successful completion of his first term as the Governor of Oyo state. Also to congratulate him and His Deputy, Barrister Abdulraheem Bayo Lawal over their inauguration for another term in office, the good must continue.
“Governor Seyi Makinde truly deserves another term, looking at his outstanding achievement across the 33 local government areas of the state. I can assure the good people of Oorelope local government and Oyo state that the good work will continue and more dividends of democracy will be delivered.
