Lawmaker representing Ibadan North State Constituency II in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide has felicitatd with Muslims in Ibadan North Local Government and Oyo State on the celebration of this year’s eid-el-kabir.
Babajide in his message urged muslims to let the teaching of eid-al-adha which is the submission of Prophet Ibrahim (PUBH) to the will of Allah which reflect the sacrificial importance of the festival
He encouraged Muslim faithfuls to embrace love and give to the needy as this is one of the teachings of the festival.
Speaking further, Babajide stressed that the disturbing effects of covid-19 pandemic might change this year’s gathering in worship but he urged Muslim Faithfuls to take advantage of this time to pray for a complete healing of our land.
Babajide called for moderation in the celebration of eid-el-kabir for this year and advise in taking precautions against covid-19 pandemic.
He also congratulated all Muslim Faithfuls in Ibadan North local government and across Oyo State starting with clerics, spiritual leaders and worshippers for witnessing year 2020 eid-el-kabir saying “I give gratitude to you all for your undivided support.”
