Honourable Adekunle Koleosho has joined other well-meaning Nigerians in felicitating with Muslims across the country on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
In his Eid-el-Kabir message made available to newsmen, Koleosho charged Muslim faithfuls to celebrate with utmost thanks to Almighty Allah (SWT) for His mercies not minding the current public health crisis which has crippled the world.
He enjoined Muslims to imbibe the spirit of love and sacrifice and to let the principles of Eid-el-Kabir be the guiding principles for a better society.
He said “We need to be grateful to Allah for keeping us safe and sound to be a partaker in this year’s celebration despite the prevailing circumstances. There is need to demonstrate faith in order to overcome the challenges facing us as a whole.
“The deeds of obedience to the will of Allah as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim should be our guiding principle in our lifestyles to God’s commandment and those in authority as we celebrate.”
He added by reminding all not to forget to observe laid down protocols in the face of the pandemic while celebrating this year’s Eid-el-Kabir with moderation.
