The House of Representatives member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban has in addition to previous transformer provisions, provided 4 new transformers for the benefit of various communities within his constituency.
This set of transformers were handed to the specific communities who had requested for them not so long ago, in the presence of their respective community leaders and representatives who were all present at the individual locations.
This distributions commenced on Monday 30th January 2023 with Alagbagba community in Ashi Bodija getting their transformer installed amidst fanfare and praises for the well performing Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban.
Other benefiting communities who got their transformers installed on Tuesday 31st January 2023 includes Irefin community in Ward 4, Oke-Itunu community in Ward 7, and Okoro community in Ward 8 areas of Ibadan North Local Government. Interestingly, Hon. Olaide Akinremi have energized all of these transformers, bearing the multi-million naira cost of the electrification process.
This laudable energizing step distinguishes Prince Akinremi Jagaban, as it is different from how it is regularly done, where what is generally obtainable is the provision of transformers, with the communities bearing the cost of energizing them. In this case, Hon. Olaide Akinremi paid fully for the energizing of these transformers.
Aside the provision and energizing of transformers, Hon. Olaide Akinremi have contributed to the repairs and rehabilitation of no less than 11 faulty transformers across various communities in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, committing no less than a million naira in each case.
Prince Akinremi Jagaban have also assisted communities with other forms of electrification challenges which includes but not limited to provision of electrical poles, cables and other important electrical equipment which had been vandalized.
Hon. Olaide Akinremi who is standing for re-election in the forthcoming general elections to represent Ibadan North Federal Constituency for a second term have contributed immensely to the welfare of his constituents, and this places him in prime position to return to the House of Representatives.
