Governor Abiola Ajimobi has expressed willingness to accommodate those aggrieved members of the party, if they are willing to repent, sequel to parallel congresses of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State.
Ajimobi avowed that he would be magnanimous and humble to accept those aggrieved members who he expects to beg to return to the mainstream of the party, noting that politics was usually ridden with agitation, interests, conflict and reconciliation,
Ajimobi stated this after the congress of the party held at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, on Saturday. He, however, said he will accommodate those persons who propagate progressive ethos and eschew brigandage and thuggery.
He charged Chief Akin Oke led state executive council which was returned elected through consensus, for another four years term, to continue to work for the unity and peace of the party and accommodate everybody.
“Politics is about giving and take, about reconciliation, interest and whether you like it or not, there will be people that will be angry, greedy, selfish, but the most important is to accommodate others.
“Even God allows conflict but in the end, he accommodates everybody. The Almighty God has been so gracious to allow the devil to exist. We should allow those who go against us to exist; eventually, they will come back.
“There is nothing wrong in people agitating, what is important is a leader must be magnanimous, humble in victory, accommodate others. But, we will not accommodate brigandage, thuggery, things against progressive ethos. We’ll accommodate those who are willing to repent.
