Chief Executive Officer, Crime Alert Security Network Ambassador, Olugbemiga Amos Olaniyan has felicitated with Muslims in the country on the celebration of this year’s eid-el-kabir.
The message of felicitation was contained in a release made available to newsmen.
Ambassador Olaniyan described the celebration as a great Grace from God to those who were alive to witness it, despite the serious challenge the world faced at the beginning of the year 2020.
The Crime Alert Boss noted that no matter the situation people find themselves, for the fact that they are alive should be the cause of their appreciation to God, considering the number of people who died as a result of coronavirus across the world.
He said “Situation people find themselves should not be the focus at this crucial time, because everyone knows what Nigeria and the rest of the world passed through especially between March this year till date”.
He therefore called on Muslims to use the celebration of this year’s eid-el-kabir to pray for the peace and quick end to pandemic in Nigeria and the rest of the world.
He said, “This year’s celebration should not just be used for merriment, we also need to use the opportunity to pray to God to deliver the world from this pandemic that has brought everything to standstill, since it started”.
He also cautioned Nigerians to be cautious of themselves and prioritize all measures that could prevent them from contracting COVID- 19 during and after the celebration.
Speaking on the state of security in the country, the Security expert called for collaborative efforts of Nigerians to make the country crime and ensure that peace reign in our society.
