“The journey began on 1st September 2016, when I joined a team of talented and commited people at Gravity 88.1FM Igboho after my broadcasting sojourn which started in 2008 as an intern at Great FM, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife before moving to Raypower FM Ilorin.
“I return all glory to God almighty for a journey filled with testimonies and experiences, though it wasn’t smooth all through but was a process of refining. it was such a rear experience working in synergy with the management and staff of the Station towards giving the best of broadcast contents to our audience across Oke Ogun and Nigeria at large.
“However, there is a yoruba proverb which say “Omo ẹni ki dara ka fi se aya”. There is always a time in one’s life that difficult decisions are to be made and today I am officially announcing my departure from GRAVITY 88.1FM IGBOHO for a greater career challenge. There’s so much I could have said but my emotions are getting the best of me while writing this piece. At the moment, I have moved over to Crest 87.7FM Akure as the Head of Yoruba Unit and there is a lot to be expected from me as this new platform avails you the opportunity to continue listening to me from any part of the world.
“My sincere appreciation goes to my boss and mentor Mr. Adebowale Adedeji (Former General Manager Gravity 88.1FM) who made this soujorn a reality. I will also appreciate the Chairman and and the entire management and staff for the opportunity to contribute my qouta to the station and development of Oke Ogun and for the good working relationship I enjoyed during my stay.
“And lastly to my teeming fans, supporters, clients, partners and friends, my success during my stay wouldn’t have been possible if not for your love, passion, prayers and support. With you all I can boldly say, it was indeed a worthwhile journey. With you I have been able to live out my purpose and without you I wouldn’t have been able to achieve some of the awards and recognitions received over the past few years (Sports Presenter of the year at the Prominent Oyo People’s Award 2018, Blogger of the year at the Distinguished Personality Award 2019 among others). Please don’t stop supporting, stay with me because there’s so much that the future holds. We are the future and that future starts now.”
