Oyo state Governor-elect, Engineer Seyi Makinde met people that volunteered for him and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2019 general elections on Saturday in Ibadan, the state capital.
The Ibadan-born business man also thanked the volunteers for helping them run a successful campaign which led to victory at the poll.
InsideOyo.com gathered that the volunteers were picked across the 33 local government areas in the state to help actualise the dream of the Governor-elect through campaign.
A post on his official twitter account reads, “We had a lovely time at the reception for volunteers who campaigned for us. Thank you for helping us run a successful campaign. Thank you for the gifts! May God bless you all.”
