InsideOYO.com has gathered that the Oyo APC primary will hold Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan and security operatives have started checking delegates before entering the stadium.
Five governorship aspirants are expected to partake in the primary election. It was earlier reported that former governor Adebayo Alao Akala and former Health Commissioner, Dr Abdulazeez Adeduntan have pulled out of the race .
They are Niyi Akintola, Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, Olusola Ayandele, Owolabi Babalola and Adebayo Adekola Adelabu
Alao-Akala alleged that Abiola Ajimobi, incumbent governor of Oyo, is planning to impose Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe on delegates.
He also urged his supporters to boycott the APC primary.
Meanwhile, the Oyo PDP primary is also going on at the Liberty Stadium, Ibadan.
