Lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Dhikirulahi Adedeji Stanley Olajide popularly known as Odidi Omo, has arrived the Saudi Arabia for the 2023 Hajj rites.
The lawmaker is expected to perform the Hajj rites alongside thousands of Muslims around the world.
He is expected to use the opportunity of the spiritual exercise to pray for the peace of the country, success of the Seyi Makinde-led administration among other things.
Odidiomo who was recently re-elected as a second term member of the House arrived at the holy land with his wife, Mrs Adenike Shakirat Olajide.
A post on his social media account read: “With the glory of Almighty Allah, I successfully landed with my beautiful and adorable wife at Jeddah to perform my Hajj Rites as devoted Muslim family.
“I give thanks to Allah for the great opportunity he bestowed on me and my family to perform this year’s Hajj.
“I am blessed to witness another year of Allah’s favor to serve him, and I pray Allah; grants us a successful and fulfilled course to serve him right may He accept this as an act of Ib’adah”
