Former governor of Oyo state, Rasheed Ladoja and the former deputy governor of the state, Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi visited the former president and presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The two Peoples Democratic Party, PDP leaders met the presidential candidate at his residence in Asokoro, Abuja last Wednesday.
Insideoyo.com gathered that the former vice president also met with the Chairman of Friends of Atiku Group, Chief Ejiofor Onyia; former Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel the same day.
Onyia visited Atiku’s residence to present him with report of activities of the group.
Highly placed source within the PDP told insideoyo.com that Ladoja’s visit was not unconnected to an alliance the party is forming to outster President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
Atiku who left the ruling APC few months ago, is working hard to earn the Peoples Democratic Party ticket.
