As reconciliation reached top gear for some unity forum members, the Senator representing Oyo South senatorial district, Senator Adesoji Akanbi today met with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and former governor of Lagos State, Senator Bola Tinubu today in Lagos.
The meeting, an insider told Insideoyo.com was part of moves to deliver Oyo state for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and its gubernatorial candidate, Adebayo Adelabu.
The Senator who contested under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) last Saturday’s election lost to Peoples Democratic party’s Kola Balogun.
Recall that the Okanlomo of Ibadanland dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) after Governor Abiola Ajimobi clinched the party’s ticket for the senatorial race.
However, the senator while responding to tweets via his official twitter account said it’s not true that he has joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
