An early morning fire outbreak ravaged Iseyin community on Thursday destroying shops and homes.
The incident occurred at Atake Adabo, Mopa’s Compound, Iseyin, according to Shina Peller, a federal lawmaker.
Shina Peller, lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/ federal constituency described the incident as a real tragedy.
In a social media post, Hon. Peller commiserated with the victims of the interno. “This incident is a real tradegy especially during this critical time.
“I pray that Almighty God replenishes all that was lost.
“I have directed my representatives to visit the affected shops to measure the level of damages and I will also visit the site as soon as I am back home.”
On pictures he shared on social media, one of his campaign buses was sighted at the scene of the incident with pictures of shops and homes ravaged by the fire.
