For members of the All Progressives Congress, APC and people of Ibadan North West / South West federal constituency, the outgone year 2017 ended on good note.
The lawmaker representing them at the House of Representatives, Hon. Saheed Akinade-Fijabi, yesterday rewarded members of his party. Selected party members from all the wards in the two local government areas were given cash assistance and motorcycles for staying firm with the party.
Constituents who had undergone entrepreneurial training were provided with job tools which included sewing machines, grinding machines, power generating sets etc.
Speaking earlier, the 40-year old lawmaker said the gesture was a token to appreciate some selected partymen and constituents, adding that “my empowerment is coming up soon. This is just a surprise, to appreciate you. This is not the real empowerment. I want to assure you that we will continue to touch lives,” he said.
