The Etsu Nupe, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr Yahaya Abubakar has honoured Engineer Muftau Open Salawu with a traditional title, Waziri Jari Nupe (Daudu) on Saturday in Bida, Niger state.
Having recognised the philanthropic gestures of the Ogbomoso-born Civil Engineer, the traditional ruler who is the King for all Nupe speaking communities in Niger, Kwara, Kogi, Kaduna states and FCT commeded Salawu and urged him to continue to do more for humanity.
Insideoyo.com recalls that recently Salawu through his foundation gave scholarship to ten students. The scholarship covers the students present class till they finish higher education in any institution of their choice.
Salawu who contested for the All Progressives Congress, APC, party ticket for Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire federal constituency also gave educational materials such as laptops, notebooks and cash gift to students.

He has developed more than 10 Estates and Aid delivery of about 3,500 units of houses across Nigeria.
He holds Master Degree in Engineering (Structure), Registered with COREN, Membership Nigerian Society for Engineer (NSE), Menber Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM), Chartered Institute of Waste Management UK. (CIWM).
He possesses Skills and Competencies in many areas among which are, Human Resource Management (Generalist). He has expertise in Human Capacity & Talent development, Talent hunting, recruiting, selection & placement, Compensation & Payroll management. Good knowledge of the capital market, Investment & portfolio management (Stocks management/ dividends recovery). He has sound knowledge and Skilful in Real estate, property investment & management.
