Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers on Thursday, attacked a billion van belonging to one of the banks at Idi Ape area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
There were reports of sporadic gunshots as residents scamper for safety.

Details of the attack were sketchy but Insideoyo.com gathered that two policemen were reportedly killed.
It could not be confirmed if the gunmen successful hijacked the bullion van.
Efforts to confirm the incident from the Police proved abortive as calls to the police spokesperson is not going through as at the time of filling this report.
